MISSION/VISION
Fayetteville Church is a Christ-exalting, Spirit-filled, all-inclusive, disciple-making church committed to Christ and His word. We are dedicated to sharing the love of Christ through ministry, fellowship, and worship. Our church is not just a house of worship. At its core are the members and believers that come together to practice God’s word, celebrate His love, extend His gifts to all, and reconcile the world to Christ through the Holy Spirit. We want to make all feel loved and welcome while stewarding them to know God, be known by God, and to make God known.
CORE VALUES
Since 1971, we have striven to create a strong community driven by the teachings of Jesus Christ, which are the guiding force in the lives of our growing congregation. Through our worship, activities and special community, we give our members the chance to become fully immersed in the wisdom and teachings of the Lord. Fayetteville church has five core values: Prayer, Harvest, Discipleship, Biblical Care, and Service
Prayer touches everything, informs all activities, empowers all ministry and service, and permeates the work from beginning to end. That is why our church is a house of prayer.
Matthew 21:13
Prayer
We believe in God's provision in our lives. We want that to be shared with everyone. This is why our church believes there many souls to be brought to repentance and faith. We have committed to being laborers to reap this harvest.
Matthew 9:37
Harvest
We believe in ecnouraging the journey to become more Christ-like. Our church takes active steps in maturing believers teaching them to obey all Jesus' commands in order to develop leaders.
Matthew 28:19-20
Discipleship
Our church affirms that everything belongs to God. We believe Christians are to be care-takers of God's kingdom according to his purpose. We are stewards of the resources, abilities, and opportunities God has entrusted to us.
1 Peter 4:10-11
Biblical Care
Serving God means serving others. It is in a life of service to the Master that we become truly free. Our church loves to serve our community with Christ-centered events and hospitality.
John 15:12-13
Service
Biblical Principles
From its beginnings, Fayetteville Church has based its beliefs on “the whole Bible rightly divided.” We accept the Bible as God’s Holy Word, inspired, inerrant, and infallible. We believe the Bible to be God’s written revelation of Himself to mankind and our guide in all matters of faith; therefore, we look to the Bible as our highest authority for doctrine, practice, organization, and discipline.
Theological Truths
01
Biblical Truth
We believe the Word of God is the living authoritative source of truth with complete accuracy and power.
02
One God
We believe that there is one God who desires a personal relationship with each individual. This one God eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each are distinct, yet all of one essence.
03
The Christ
We believe in the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, the physical miracles He performed, His atoning death upon the Cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory at His second coming.
04
Saving Grace
We believe the death of Jesus Christ was the ultimate and final sacrifice for humanity's sin. Salvation is obtained by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. All that repent and receive Jesus Christ as their Savior are born again as a child of God.
05
Power Within
We affirm the present, active ministry of the Holy Spirit who guides the Church and by whose indwelling and empowerment we are able to live godly lives and render effective service to God and others with the power of Christ for the Glory of the Father.
06
The Body
We believe in the oneness and ultimate unity of believers for which our Lord prayed, the Church - God's people. A community of faith in local aggregates forming an inviting culture infused with God's love and hope.
07
Know God
We believe because the veil was torn we have access to an intimate relationship with our Creator. It is the pursuit of the development of this relationship that causes us to know Him. To know God is the ultimate treasure of the soul.
08
Worship Lifestyle
We believe in more than outward worship in services. Worship should envelope our entire lives. Everything we do should intend to worship the Father. Worship is not a momentary experience, but a lifestyle choice.
09
Glorify the Father
We believe all things should be done in excellence for the glory of the Father.
10
Community
We believe in establishing local communities to fellowship and grow in the faith with other believers. These groups aim to make Jesus known, encourage others, and restore the shaken for all to experience the love, grace, healing, and power of Jesus Christ.
